I'm a freelance writer and editor working from central coast California. I write and develop articles, essays, and interviews on topics like social change, sustainable agriculture, faith, and mental health. I've worked with numerous authors and organizations to develop writing that supports social justice initiatives. I also have a strong background in law and enjoy taking complicated technical and legal issues and translating them for wider audiences.

My background is in international political science and I am intensely interested in issues of sustainability and immigration, especially in the context of our current political climate. I believe in solutions journalism, environmental justice and antiracist advocacy. I am also interested in promoting women’s voices as writers, artists and leaders in social change movements.
